First collaboration Live Performance and Sound work,
Eru and Seven of Eglise (Rues and Glausnitzer), 'JB 337'
transit station edinburgh 2006

A collaboration, Eru and Seven of Eglise explore the idea of simultaneous sound and live work as two different entities. The synthesis is an image beyond the act of producing sound and live action. The sense of time is as illusive as the transparency of the image. Eru”s sound experiments are based on cosmic and molecular tunings. The intention negotiates the possible subconscious links between two performers being unaware of each other”s presence. The presence resides in the viewers eyes and ears.

Live Art Performance
Euroart Festival   London 2005

morphing poles (out of the werft)

69 minutes long live art work on ground space of Euroart Festival

"The objects may be familiar or unfamiliar, the body merges with the object. The performer and the witness: Hindu Goddesses are giving birth to objects out of the jumper. What side of the line am I on?" Quotation from notations walking the poles.

The live art work exists on the power of experience and the significance of text and language. Poles of various lengths are being transported to the site. The process starts when the feeling for movement in time becomes the experience between designated places. It becomes a multiplicity of impressions, sound recordings perhaps unconscious moments which are no longer determined.

It is the aim of this work to arrive at the place of euroart studio festival out of a series of journeys (physical and metaphysical) and for the first time to include the presence of sound. The sound is a collection of fragments collected during the walk with poles as well as pre-recorded electronic sound assemblage compiled by Morphon, Berlin Germany. (www.klangwirkstoff.de) The sound collections are being presented with two tape recorders.

The body and the poles become the object and are at the center of this live art performance work - morphing poles (out of werft) is presented in its minimal and spontaneous form with one light and two sound sources.

confluence

The work consists 19 c-type photographic prints based on 35 mm colour negatives.
Each image is 30 x 40 inches mounted on 10 mm foam board.

The work is based on the concept of process and time. The image itself in its context exceeds the theoretical intention the viewer is presented with a kind of still life – landscape. The common denominator is nature; though captured within different processes of everyday life, the combination of fresh steak, processed by man for human consumption seen together in a moment of the splash of ocean water at the English coastal landscape becomes a situation of displacement. The potential of associations initiates the imagination.
The link of those moments in their visual presentation is sometimes accessible and sometimes resides within the context of the surreal.

The two possible states of being emerge out of this combination and its simultaneous appearance of the familiar object, both of which belong toan idea of life’s alternative rhythmic nature.
